Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager responsibilities include assisting with store operations, customer service, and team development. Responsibilities span organizing merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor, performing opening/closing procedures, processing corporate directives, maintaining promotional displays, assisting with ordering and inventory record-keeping, loss prevention, safeguarding assets, and ensuring adherence to policies. The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to train and develop store associates, and a focus on delivering a positive customer experience in a high-energy retail environment. Part-time opportunity based in Navasota, TX.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs.
- Ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives (e.g., merchandise schematics) is required
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required
- Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required
- Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are required
