Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager role focused on supporting store operations, customer service, and team development. Responsibilities include assisting with day-to-day store activities, helping customers, organizing and transferring merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom and sales floor, performing opening and closing procedures, processing corporate directives and administrative tasks (e.g., payroll, scheduling, cash handling), maintaining promotional displays, assisting with merchandising and inventory control, loss prevention, and ensuring store areas remain well-stocked and presentable. Also responsible for supervising and developing Store Associates, maintaining a positive, safe, and professional environment, and adhering to company policies and safety guidelines. Part-time role based at 507 E. Main St., Geneva, OH 44041-1356 with an emphasis on delivering high-quality customer service and teamwork in a retail setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. and physical requirements as described
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
- Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
- Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
