Job Summary
Assist Store Manager with store operations, customer service, and team development. Responsibilities include helping with daily store activities, assisting customers, organizing and transferring merchandise between delivery, stockroom, and sales floor, performing opening/closing procedures, processing directives and communications, maintaining promotional displays, assisting in ordering and inventory tasks, payroll and scheduling, loss prevention, maintaining store cleanliness, and supporting a positive, safe, and professional environment for customers and associates. Requires ability to lift up to 55 lbs. and strong communication and team-work skills; part-time position at Dollar Tree in Carson City, NV.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives (e.g., merchandise schematics) is required
- Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required
- Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required
- Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are required
