Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager I at Family Dollar to support store operations, customer service and team development. Responsibilities include assisting with day-to-day store activities, helping customers, organizing merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor, executing opening/closing procedures, processing directives and communications, maintaining promotional fixtures and displays, assisting in ordering and inventory tasks, payroll and scheduling, loss prevention, ensuring store areas are well-stocked and presentable, and supervising/training Store Associates to maintain a positive, safe, and professional environment. Requires high school diploma or equivalent (preferred) and store-management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments (preferred); ability to lift up to 55 lbs and strong communication/interpersonal skills; ability to work in a high-energy, team-oriented setting.
