Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager responsibilities include supporting the Store Manager with day-to-day store operations, delivering strong customer service, and developing store associates. The role involves assisting with merchandise transfer from delivery to stockroom and sales floor, executing opening/closing procedures, processing corporate directives and audits, maintaining promotional displays, managing merchandise orders and inventory controls, handling payroll and scheduling, cashiering and deposits, ensuring loss prevention, and maintaining a clean, secure, and compliant store environment. The position requires effective communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and a customer-focused approach, with experience in retail, grocery, or drug-store settings and the ability to lift up to 55 lbs. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
