Job Summary
Assistant Manager I responsible for assisting the Store Manager in store operations, customer service, and team development. Key duties include supervising daily store activities, assisting customers, organizing merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor, performing opening/closing procedures, processing corporate directives, maintaining promotional displays, assisting with ordering and inventory tasks, payroll and scheduling record-keeping, protecting assets, ensuring safety/compliance, and training Store Associates to foster a positive, respectful store environment. Requires high school diploma or equivalent (preferred), prior store-management experience in retail/grocery/drug store contexts (preferred), ability to lift up to 55 lbs, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and ability to thrive in a high-energy team setting.
