Job Summary
As an Assistant Store Manager, you will assist with store operations and customer service, develop team members, and maintain store functions and merchandise organization. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with corporate directives, maintaining store cleanliness and stock levels, training and supervising team associates, and addressing customer inquiries. The role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to handle physical demands such as lifting and standing for extended periods. Store management experience in a retail environment is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives
- Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs from floor to above shoulder height
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
- Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
- Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
