Job Summary
Conduct daily store operations by assisting with functions, organizing merchandise transfers, and maintaining seasonal areas. Process opening and closing procedures, handle corporate directives, and ensure promotional displays remain effective. Manage inventory ordering, record keeping, and loss prevention while protecting company assets and adhering to safety policies. Supervise and train store associates to foster a positive, respectful environment, ensuring cleanliness and professional interactions throughout the facility.
Required Qualifications
- ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives (e.g., merchandise schematics, etc.)
- Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
- Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
- Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment
