Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. Responsibilities include assisting with daily store activities, helping customers, organizing merchandise from the delivery truck to stockroom and sales floor, opening/closing procedures, processing corporate directives, maintaining promotional displays and store fixtures, assisting in ordering and loss prevention, payroll and scheduling record-keeping, ensuring a neat and presentable store, protecting company assets, adhering to safety and policy requirements, and supervising/training Store Associates to foster a positive, safe, and professional environment. Requires the ability to lift up to 55 lbs and strong communication skills; prior store management experience and a high school diploma or equivalent are preferred. Part-time position located at 100 S Mekusukey Avenue, Wewoka, OK 74884 (Family Dollar). Also notes potential background checks for licenses to sell alcohol/tobacco where applicable.
