Job Summary
Assist with store operations, customer service and team development. Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor; perform opening and closing procedures; process corporate directives; maintain promotional effectiveness of storefront fixtures and displays; assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping (including payroll and scheduling, and cash handling deposits/receipts), and loss prevention. Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards; protect and secure assets including store cash; adhere to policies and safety guidelines; ensure all associates follow procedures. Support the Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing Store Associates and fostering a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues. Physical duties include cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping/mopping floors, taking out trash, and keeping areas neat. This is a part-time role based in Landover, MD. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives (e.g., merchandise schematics) is required
