Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager is sought to support store operations, customer service, and team development. Responsibilities include assisting with store functions, helping customers, organizing merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor, performing opening/closing procedures, processing corporate directives, maintaining promotional displays, assisting in ordering and loss prevention, ensuring a well-stocked and clean store, and supporting the Store Manager in training and developing Store Associates. Requires strong communication and customer service skills, ability to lift up to 55 lbs., and ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment. Part-time role located at 1105 3rd Ave., International Falls, MN. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives (e.g., merchandise schematics) is required
- Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required
- Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required
- Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are required
