Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager I for Dollar Tree in Martinsburg, WV. Responsible for assisting with store operations, customer service, and team development, including opening/closing procedures, merchandising from delivery to stockroom and sales floor, maintaining seasonal areas, processing directives, payroll and scheduling, loss prevention, and ensuring store cleanliness and safety. Supports supervision and training of store associates, promotes a positive and professional environment, and adheres to company policies and ADA accommodations. Part-time position with responsibilities spanning customer service, merchandise flow, and store maintenance in a retail grocery/drug-store setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred and ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives (e.g., merchandise schematics) is required
- Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and endure frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
