Job Summary
Manage store operations, customer service, and team development by assisting with daily activities, organizing merchandise transfers, and maintaining seasonal areas. Process opening and closing procedures, execute corporate directives, and ensure promotional effectiveness of fixtures and displays. Order merchandise, process damaged items, maintain accurate records, and oversee loss prevention while protecting company assets. Supervise and train Store Associates to ensure a safe, respectful environment and adhere to safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including restocking bathrooms and sweeping floors. Work part-time hours at 8014 S Cicero Ave, Burbank, Illinois, with a salary from $17 to $17.50.
Required Qualifications
- ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives (e.g., merchandise schematics, etc.)
- Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
- Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
- Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
- Must be able to provide certain detailed background information necessary to obtain a license to sell alcoholic beverages / tobacco products
