Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager duties include assisting with store functions and day-to-day activities, helping customers, organizing merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor, executing opening/closing procedures, processing directives, maintaining promotional fixtures, assisting in ordering and loss prevention, payroll/scheduling/receipts record-keeping, keeping store areas neat and stocked, protecting assets, ensuring adherence to policies and safety guidelines, supervising and developing store associates, and creating a positive, safe environment through customer and team interactions. Requires high school diploma or equivalent preferred, and prior store-management experience is preferred; role involves lifting up to 55 lbs and flexible, team-oriented communication.
