Job Summary
Assist Store Manager with retail operations, customer service, and team development. Responsibilities include helping with day-to-day store activities, assisting customers, organizing merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor, performing opening/closing procedures, processing corporate directives and communications related to store activities, maintaining promotional displays, assisting in ordering and handling damaged merchandise, payroll and scheduling records, loss prevention, ensuring a well-stocked and clean store, protecting store assets, and upholding company policies. The role requires strong communication and teamwork, ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and experience in store management or retail/grocery/drug store environments. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives (e.g., merchandise schematics) is required
- Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical activities including walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, and climbing
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required
- Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required
- Exceptional customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required
