Job Summary
Assist Store Manager with store operations, customer service, and team development. Responsibilities include supporting daily store activities, helping customers, organizing merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor, performing opening/closing procedures, processing directives and communications, maintaining promotional fixtures and displays, assisting in ordering and loss prevention, payroll/scheduling/cash handling, ensuring store areas are stocked and presentable, and helping supervise/train Store Associates while maintaining a positive, safe, and respectful environment. The role requires strong communication and customer service skills, ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and readiness to work in a high-energy team setting; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred and prior store-management experience is preferred. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required
- Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required
- Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are required
- Specialized licenses for alcohol and/or tobacco may be required by local jurisdiction to obtain license to sell alcoholic beverages/tobacco products
