Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager role focused on store operations, customer service, and team development. Responsibilities include assisting with daily store activities, helping customers, organizing merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor, executing opening/closing procedures, processing corporate directives and reports, maintaining promotional displays and store-front fixtures, assisting in ordering merchandise and loss prevention, payroll and scheduling record-keeping, ensuring store areas meet company standards for cleanliness and safety, supervising and training store associates, and fostering a positive, safe, and professional environment. Requires high school diploma or equivalent (preferred), store-management experience in retail/grocery/drug store, ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and strong communication and customer-service skills.
