Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager role focused on supporting store operations, customer service, and team development. Responsibilities include assisting with daily store activities, helping customers, transferring merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor, executing opening/closing procedures, processing directives (payroll, scheduling, and cash handling), maintaining promotional displays, ordering and processing merchandise, loss prevention, and ensuring store areas meet company standards. Also involves supervising and training Store Associates and maintaining a positive, safe, and professional environment. Part-time position located at 608 E. King Street, Kings Mountain, NC. Perks include benefits and ADA accommodations; employment is at-will.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and physical stamina for store duties
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
- Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
- Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills
