Job Summary
Assist Store Manager with daily store operations, customer service, and team development. Responsibilities include helping with opening/closing procedures, organizing transfers of merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor, maintaining promotional storefront displays, processing payroll and scheduling records, loss prevention, and ensuring store areas are well-stocked, clean, and aligned with company standards. Display exceptional customer service, protect assets, adhere to safety policies, and support training and development of Store Associates while maintaining a positive, professional environment for customers and colleagues. Additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, walking, bending) as needed
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
- Ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives (e.g., merchandise schematics)
- Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
