Job Summary
Assistant Manager I supports the Store Manager with day-to-day store operations, customer service, and team development. Responsibilities include assisting with opening/closing procedures, processing corporate directives and store communications, organizing merchandise flow from delivery to stockroom and sales floor, maintaining promotional fixtures and displays, ordering and processing merchandise, payroll and scheduling, loss prevention, maintaining a clean and well-stocked store, and upholding company policies and safety guidelines. The role emphasizes supervising and developing Store Associates, delivering a positive, safe, and respectful environment, and contributing to store performance and customer experience. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred), store-management experience in retail/grocery/drug store environments (preferred), ability to lift up to 55 lbs, strong communication and teamwork skills, and a customer-service oriented mindset.
Required Qualifications
