Job Summary
Conduct store operations, assist customers, and maintain seasonal displays. Organize merchandise from delivery to sales floor, process opening and closing procedures, and handle corporate directives including Pull and Hold/Destroy requests. Order merchandise, process damaged goods, manage payroll and cash deposits, and ensure loss prevention. Supervise Store Associates, train staff, and maintain a clean, safe environment. Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies while protecting company assets. Part-time role at 301 Clay Pitts Rd., East Northport, New York.
Required Qualifications
- ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives (e.g., merchandise schematics, etc.)
- Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
- Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
- Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills

Desired Qualifications

- Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment
