Assistant Manager I

Assistant Store Manager I role focusing on store operations, customer service, and team development. Responsibilities include assisting with day-to-day store activities, helping customers, organizing merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom and sales floor, performing opening/closing procedures, processing corporate directives, maintaining promotional displays, assisting in ordering and inventory control, payroll and scheduling records, loss prevention, maintaining a well-stocked floor and organized stockroom, safeguarding assets, adhering to safety and policies, supervising and developing Store Associates, ensuring a positive environment with professional interactions, and performing other duties as assigned. Skills noted: high school diploma or equivalent preferred; store management experience in retail/grocery/drug store environments preferred; ability to lift up to 55 lbs; strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills; ability to work in a high-energy, team environment; exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities.
