Job Summary
Oversee daily restaurant operations by leading front-of-house service, supervising servers and bartenders, and ensuring smooth opening and closing procedures. Coach team members, maintain high guest service standards, and address concerns promptly while monitoring cleanliness and food safety protocols. Manage shift coverage, handle cash registers and deposits, and coordinate with the kitchen during high-volume periods to ensure accurate order delivery. Assist with employee training, inventory monitoring, and end-of-shift paperwork. Work flexible evening and weekend shifts in a fast-paced environment, stepping into operational roles as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of restaurant supervisory, key-holder, or management experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Dependable, organized, and able to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Strong guest-service and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable handling cash and basic restaurant reporting
- Ability to work effectively with both FOH and BOH team members
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Food Manager and alcohol-service certifications required or must be obtained within the required timeframe
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds as needed
- 1 year restaurant management, supervisory, or key holder experience
Desired Qualifications
- Sports bar, casual dining, or high-volume restaurant experience preferred
