Job Summary
The Associate HR Manager will oversee end-to-end employee operations for Farmacy Beauty and Each & Every brands, driving onboarding through offboarding, HRIS maintenance, payroll coordination, benefits administration, background checks, and employee documentation. You will lead recruiting for identified roles, manage employee programs and projects (engagement, culture, performance management, internal communications), and collaborate with Finance, IT, and Brand Marketing to optimize processes and the employee experience. This role requires a proactive problem-solver who can navigate a fast-paced environment, build scalable workflows, ensure compliance with federal/state/local regulations, and commute to the NYC office a minimum of 2 days/week. Excellent project-management and interpersonal skills, plus experience with HRIS, payroll, benefits, and ATS platforms, are essential. The position reports to the Director, Human Resources (Farmacy + Each & Every) and emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, policy rollouts, and operational change management.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years relevant HR Generalist experience
- Experience managing onboarding, offboarding, payroll, benefits and other employee support processes
- Strong experience with HRIS, payroll, benefits and recruiting platforms (e.g. ADP, Workable)
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship from employer
