Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager responsible for overseeing store operations in the absence of the Store Manager, supervising compatible team members, and assisting in budgeting, purchasing, and personnel tasks. Duties include providing customer service, directing staff in sales, inventory, and merchandising activities; training and evaluating personnel; planning work schedules; maintaining records of purchases and sales; enforcing safety and company policies; and supporting leadership in driving sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Requires high school diploma or GED and strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; ability to recruit, hire, and train staff; experience with inventory management, pricing, and visual merchandising; and compliance with store policies and regulations. Location: Elberton, GA, USA; on-site role with no remote work option.
