Assistant Manager – Health & Safety

Assist Manager – Health & Safety to implement and monitor health and safety programs at the plant, ensuring compliance with safety standards, mitigating operational risks, and fostering a strong safety culture across manufacturing activities. Key duties include developing and executing safety programs for warehouse operations (Working at Height, material handling, fire safety, pedestrian safety, PPE compliance), ensuring legal compliance, conducting risk assessments and corrective measures, managing incidents and near misses, delivering safety training and toolbox talks, coordinating emergency preparedness (evacuation drills, first aid, hospital tie-ups), and monitoring PPE usage and safety reporting.Prepare monthly safety performance reports and support audits. Strong knowledge of warehouse safety standards, and ability to influence operational teams; proficient in MS Office and safety reporting tools. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Safety / Environment or related field, with professional certifications in Health & Safety preferred (e.g., CLI/RLI, NEBOSH, IOSH).
