Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager at Goodwill of Western and Northern Connecticut oversees retail store operations, recruits and trains retail team members, delegates tasks, schedules staff, manages merchandising displays, and ensures store security and expense control. Responsibilities include ordering merchandise, maintaining sales records and bank deposits, attending marketing and sales meetings, maintaining a clean store, and providing excellent customer service. Requires high school graduate or equivalent, at least two years of management/supervisory experience, ability to supervise shipping/receiving, stock duties, merchandising, cashiering, and customer service, and willingness to travel or relocate.
