Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager at Goodwill of Western and Northern Connecticut leads a retail store operation in accordance with agency policy, recruiting, training, and supervising retail team members; assigns work, administers discipline when needed; creates staff schedules to optimize customer service, merchandise displays, store security, and expenses; orders merchandise, maintains sales records and bank deposits, plans displays, participates in marketing and sales meetings, and ensures a clean, neat store. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of management/supervisory experience; willingness to travel or relocate; ability to lift over 40 pounds; and exposure to inclement weather.
