Job Summary
Assist in managing a Goodwill retail store, including recruiting, training, and supervising retail team members; delegate work assignments, administer discipline as needed, plan work schedules for optimal customer service and store efficiency, order merchandise, maintain sales data and bank deposits, create effective merchandise displays, attend marketing and sales meetings, and maintain a clean store. Requires high school diploma or equivalent and two years in a management/supervisory role; experience or education in Business/Marketing preferred; ability to supervise shipping/receiving, stock, merchandising, cashiering, and customer service; willing to travel or relocate; physical duties include standing, bending, lifting over 40 pounds, and exposure to inclement weather; shifts include day, evening, and weekend.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Two years of experience in a management/supervisory position
- Experience or education in Business and Marketing is preferred
- Ability to supervise and train in shipping/receiving functions, stock duties, merchandising, cashiering, and customer service retail
- Willing to travel or relocate
- Must be able to lift over 40 pounds
