Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager at Goodwill of Western and Northern Connecticut responsible for managing a Goodwill retail store in accordance with policy, recruiting, training, and supervising retail team members, delegating tasks, administering discipline, creating schedules to optimize customer service and display, ordering merchandise, maintaining sales records and bank deposits, planning merchandise displays, attending marketing and sales meetings, and maintaining store cleanliness and security. Requires ability to supervise and train in shipping/receiving, stock duties, merchandising, cashiering, and customer service; willingness to travel or relocate; and capability to lift over 40 pounds and work day/evening/weekend shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Two years of experience in a management/supervisory position
- Experience or education in Business and Marketing is preferred
- Willing to travel or relocate
