Job Summary
Drive sales, profitability, and customer service by managing a team of associates, overseeing merchandising, and executing operational strategic initiatives. Conduct daily huddles, handle customer complaints immediately, and ensure staff are fully trained on selling skills and product knowledge. Manage payroll reporting, analyze GT operations and margin reports, and maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and receiving standards. Act as an expert source for golf accessories and collaborate with corporate clients to build relationships. Monitor staff adherence to policies, perform annual reviews, and uphold loss prevention protocols including bag checks and alarm testing.
Required Qualifications
- Post secondary education or equivalent
- 3-5 years' progressive experience in retail supervisory or management capacity
- Must be a certified fitter
- 3 to 5 years of progressive golf sales and fitting experience
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written
- Energetic and enthusiastic with an ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Organized, able to prioritize and follow-up efficiently
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to relate to and motivate staff
- Strong financial skills, ability to read and analyze reports
- Team-oriented with an empathetic and tolerant personality
- A commitment to high company standards

- Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years' experience in the Pro Shop (regripping, reshafting and club adjustments) is an asset
- A passion for retail with a strong understanding of the game of golf
