Assistant Manager, Fund Accounting

Assist in leading the Private Equity & Private Debt Fund Accounting team to deliver accurate NAV calculations, financial statements, capital activity, and investor reporting for clients. Own deliverables end-to-end, review complex outputs, onboard new funds, support system conversions, and drive coaching and process improvements. Responsibilities include reviewing NAV reports and disclosures for funds and corporate clients, coordinating with clusters, assigning workloads, meeting deadlines, addressing review comments within 24 hours, and escalating issues. Guide and develop the team through technical/non-technical feedback, support learning initiatives, ensure quality standards, and act as an alternate Manager when needed. Oversee workflow and controls, monitor timesheets, approve overtime, manage workflow planner, optimize processes, utilize accounting/reporting platforms, and draft error/compliance reports with root-cause analysis. Uphold risk management and professional standards by enforcing procedures, reporting breaches, conducting research, participating in interviews, and taking on additional responsibilities to support growth.
