Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager at Scrubs & Beyond responsible for supporting the Store Manager in driving store performance and delivering an exceptional guest experience. Responsibilities include managing store operations (scheduling, customer service, marketing, merchandising, inventory management, financial reporting, safety), leading and mentoring staff, developing strategies to achieve business goals, expanding market share by serving group accounts and retail customers, analyzing trends to maximize daily sales, managing budgets and payroll, cultivating relationships with local healthcare providers, maintaining a strong presence on the sales floor, facilitating continuous learning and performance management, and assuming Store Manager responsibilities when needed. Emphasis on leadership, coaching, and maintaining high-performing culture aligned with core values and visual merchandising standards.
Required Qualifications
- Possess in-depth retail expertise
- Have at least 2-4 years of retail or sales experience in a leadership capacity or relevant experience
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding personal and overall store sales targets
- Able to quickly understand and address business information (e.g., budgets and sales forecasts, retail strategy and approaches)
- Can work a flexible schedule according to the needs of the business, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
