Job Summary
The Assistant Manager is responsible for the successful operation of the store in the absence of the Store Manager, driving sales, interviewing and training employees, and developing future management candidates. Key duties include opening and closing the store, directing sales and cashier associates, and overseeing inventory control and loss prevention policies. Candidates should have previous retail management experience, effective organizational and communication skills, and a passion for sports and outdoor activities. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Previous retail management experience
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Basic organizational and/or applicable math skills
- Effective communicative skills
