Job Summary
As an Assistant Manager at Big 5 Sporting Goods, you will oversee store operations in the absence of the Store Manager, driving sales and handling customer service responsibilities. Key duties include interviewing, hiring, and training staff, writing weekly schedules, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Previous retail management experience
- Must possess High School diploma, GED, High School Equivalency, certificated equivalent and/or relevant experience
- Must possess basic organizational and/or applicable math skills
- Must possess effective and demonstrable interactive and communicative skills
