Job Summary
Support the Store Manager in supervising daily operations, stepping in to lead the location during absences. Coach, train, and motivate technicians and service advisors to deliver consistent, high-quality service while assisting with scheduling, onboarding, and inventory management. Greet customers, explain services, and resolve concerns professionally to ensure every visit reflects brand standards for speed, quality, and trust. Conduct quality checks on completed work, promote a safety-first culture, and track daily sales and productivity metrics. This hands-on role requires time in the service bay, front counter, and back office to build a team that customers and coworkers can count on.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in a retail, automotive service, or customer-facing leadership role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment that includes time in the service bay
- Basic math and cash-handling skills; comfortable using point-of-sale and inventory systems
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to [50] lbs as needed
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and some holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in quick-lube, automotive service, or a related industry
- Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance services (oil changes, fluid checks, filters, etc.)
- Experience supervising or training team members in a retail or service environment
- ASE certification(s) or willingness to obtain certifications as required by brand standards
