Job Summary
Support the Store Manager in daily store operations by leading by example, providing fast and friendly service, and performing all assigned operational duties to maintain a clean, well-merchandised environment. Supervise employees, maintain positive morale, and enforce company policies while assuming full store responsibilities during the Store Manager's absence. Collaborate on performance goals, manage daily accounting, and ensure accurate inventory controls and food safety standards. Handle customer relations efficiently, assist in training and scheduling, and address maintenance or unusual situations immediately. Maintain a neat personal appearance and communicate professionally with management and team members.
Required Qualifications
- Four-year college or university degree
- minimum of two years' experience in a related field
- equivalent combination of education & experience
- Valid in-state Driver's License

- acceptable motor vehicle report
- ServSafe Certification
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to read, review, and interpret financial statements and other reports and documents
- Demonstrated skills in leadership
- Demonstrated skills in customer service
- Demonstrated ability to develop and promote team members
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to exercise sound judgment
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Ability to effectively present information to customers, associates & management
- Ability to read, analyze & interpret financial reports & legal documents
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from associates, customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
- Ability to speak, read & write in the English language
- Ability to solve practical problems & deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exits
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
- Regularly required to stand, sit, and walk
- Occasionally required to climb or balance on a ladder and/or stool, kneel or crouch
- Occasionally lift or carry up to 50 pounds
- Occasionally works in outside weather conditions
- Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes, or airborne particles, & extreme heat and/or cold
- Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts
- Occasionally works in high, precarious places
- Occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, & risk of electric shock
- Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud
