Job Summary
As an Assistant Manager: Freight Flow, you will play a key leadership role in driving sales and profitability while fostering a customer-first culture. Your primary responsibilities include coordinating freight processing, validating loss prevention policies, maintaining stockroom organization, analyzing business trends, and executing daily business tasks. You will be expected to lead and develop a high-performance team, utilize company tools for training resources, and ensure compliance with operational standards. Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years of relevant leadership experience in a fast-paced specialty retail selling culture is preferred
- Effective communication skills, being open to feedback, and the ability to adapt quickly
- Ability to provide in the moment coaching to associates
- Ability to de-escalate store and customer situations effectively
- Ability to plan and prioritize according to the needs of the business
- Strong sense of urgency
