Job Summary
Lead the restaurant floor by coaching staff, managing labor and food costs, and controlling inventory to drive profitability. Uphold hospitality standards, handle guest issues, and build vendor relationships while maintaining facility cleanliness. Assess team performance, coordinate schedules, and utilize financial reports to identify growth opportunities. Work a variety of hours including nights and weekends, standing for up to 10-hour shifts. Assist in hiring, training, and motivating team members within a fast-casual environment known for cooked-to-order steakburgers and frozen custard.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience as a shift lead or manager in a full‐service, casual dining or quick‐service restaurant
- Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional guest service and develop people
- Experience reading financial statements, sales or activity reports to measure productivity and goal achievement
- Availability to work a variety of hours (days, nights and weekends) within the local metro area
- Ability to stand or walk for up to 10‐hour shift and lift up to 40 lbs
- Willingness to bend, stoop and occasionally use a ladder
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency with desktop software and spreadsheets; experience with labor management and P&Ls is a plus
