Job Summary
Manage the open kitchen, register, grill, and prep areas in a clean, cook-to-order environment while maintaining high energy and customer service standards. Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, and ensure food safety compliance. Multi-task during fast-paced shifts covering day, mid, night, and weekend hours. Maintain punctuality and adapt to changing situations with strong problem-solving skills. Work in a loud, collaborative atmosphere where team communication is essential for the Five Guys Experience.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 current years as an Assistant General Manager in a restaurant setting
- Energetic people who love to work in a fun-filled and high-energy atmosphere
- Genuine employees who can offer the Five Guys Experience
- Must be able to SMILE at all times, especially at the register during order taking!
- Reliable transportation
- Valid State Motor Vehicle Operations Driver's License and good driving record
- Punctual and Good Attendance
- Flexibility to work day, mid, night AND weekend hours
- Ability to multi-task and move at a fast pace
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to any situation in a positive and collective manner
- Serve Safe Certified
- Must be proficient in Word, Excel and other operating computer software systems
- Must be able to operate a cash register
- Safe Knowledge of basic mathematical skills including cash handling policies and procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional Employee Relation Skills both communication and written
- High sense of energy and dedication to customer service principles and team building
- Maintain strong track record of leadership or managerial skills
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are necessary
- Requires frequent standing, walking, bending stooping, twisting, lifting products and supplies weighing 50 pounds, repetitive hand and wrist motion
- Casual uniform, (T-shirt and Ballcap provided), Blue Jeans, and non-slip shoes required
Desired Qualifications
- up to 2-3 years of current fast-casual dining experience as an Assistant Manager
