Assistant Manager - Facilities

Job Summary
Oversee daily operations of HVAC, electrical, and fire safety systems while executing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to ensure maximum uptime. Manage in-house technicians and third-party vendors, including AMC onboarding, performance monitoring, and SLA tracking. Ensure full compliance with statutory norms, safety protocols, and internal/external audits such as ISO and Energy Audits. Monitor energy consumption, prepare facility budgets, and coordinate soft services like housekeeping and pest control. Lead infrastructure projects, maintain technical documentation, and act as the single point of contact for client escalations and stakeholder communication.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (mandatory)
- 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in Facilities Management, Building Operations, or Engineering Services
- Exposure to managing MEP systems, critical utilities, and vendor relationships in corporate, IT/ITES, industrial, or commercial settings
- Hands-on knowledge of: MEP Systems (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing)
- Hands-on knowledge of: HVAC, UPS, Fire Alarm Systems
- Hands-on knowledge of: BMS and building automation platforms
- Hands-on knowledge of: CMMS / CAFM tools for maintenance scheduling
- Understanding of: Statutory compliance and licensing norms
- Understanding of: Energy management techniques and sustainability practices
- Understanding of: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 standards

- Additional certifications (BMS, Fire & Safety, Energy Management, ISO/EHS)
