Job Summary
Assistant Manager to support store operations, provide leadership to employees, train and mentor staff, enforce company policies, suggest customer purchases, manage cash handling and deposits, oversee stock/restocking and cleanliness, coordinate weekly orders, ensure food handling and safety procedures, respond to emergencies, and work weekends with open availability to support a 24/7 operation; strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills are required.
Required Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED
- Previous leadership experience, with a proven track record of supervising team members in a food service or retail environment
- At least 3 months of customer service experience
- A strong passion for providing exceptional customer service
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, can-do attitude
- A valid Driver License and reliable transportation preferred
- Must be of legal age to sell alcohol and tobacco
- Demonstrated ability to foster teamwork and collaboration to get the job done
- The ability to think quick on your feet and react to change
