Job Summary
Maintain restaurant cleanliness, adhere to safety protocols, and ensure proper food preparation while addressing guest complaints and providing timely service. Supervise and train team members to meet Applebee's standards, manage schedules, and lead staff toward daily goals. Assist with inventory management, cost control, and profitability while recruiting, onboarding, and developing new employees. Serve as the primary contact for staff, vendors, and internal teams. This role supports Dine Brands' three brands across over 3,500 international locations, requiring flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds, counter height to shoulder height, across the restaurant
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2+ years of supervisory experience in casual dining preferred
- Experience teaching and training staff preferred
- Strong personal and professional integrity
- Ability to deal with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and good judgment
- Passion to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to solve problems on the go
