Job Summary
Direct employees and ensure timely completion of all daily restaurant operations, including overseeing Shift Leaders and Team Members through Ops Walks, Q&A checks, and performance feedback. Manage shift schedules, monitor attendance, assign duties based on skills, and balance cash drawers as directed. Lead the team in preparing menu items while enforcing safety, sanitary, and cost control guidelines, and handle guest complaints professionally. Ensure daily cleanliness by delegating table clearing, floor maintenance, and equipment sanitization. Train new staff through the DHC Training Program, communicate performance issues to management, and model positive business practices. Work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays to support the restaurant's business plan and management directives.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Fluent in English
- Certified in all stations following the DHC Training Program
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude
- Commitment to guest satisfaction
- Effective communicator with co-workers and the restaurant management team
- Must have reliable transportation to work
- Must have a driver's license
- Must have proof of insurance
- Must have telephone or other reliable method of communicating with supervisor and co-workers
- Must be able and willing to work flexible hours including opening and closing shifts
- Must be able to bend and stoop
- Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs. comfortably
