Job Summary
Assist the General Manager in executing all aspects of restaurant operations. May be assigned specific areas to manage within the restaurant in accordance with the GM’s overall business plan. Manage entire operation of restaurant during scheduled shifts; maintain standards for product and service quality, cleanliness, sanitation, and speed of service; assist in executing the business plan; ensure PRIDE systems are incorporated; ensure guest service meets company standards; respond to customer complaints and resolve issues; complete duties such as inventory control, ordering, and cash control; assist in optimizing profits by controlling product and labor costs; communicate and oversee product promotions; staff, train and develop hourly employees through hiring, orientations, ongoing feedback, performance expectations, and performance reviews; prepare hourly employee schedules; exercise good judgment in decision-making and reporting to the GM; perform other duties as requested by the GM; maintain positive working relationships and communicate significant issues with the GM.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One to three years of management in a high volume restaurant preferred
- QSR experience strongly preferred
- Excellent customer service and employee relation skills
- Detail oriented with ability to oversee restaurant operations and multiple areas in a fast paced environment
- Able to work in and out of different temperature ranges
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
