Job Summary
Assist the GM with running a high-volume Dairy Queen restaurant, managing the entire operation during scheduled shifts to meet quality, service, and atmosphere expectations. Responsibilities include hiring, training, coaching, and developing shift leads and crew; controlling inventory and cash; analyzing COGS and labor to optimize profitability; ensuring food safety, proper hand washing, temperature logging, and sanitation; delivering strong fan service and customer satisfaction; supporting the restaurant’s business plan, local promotions, and marketing efforts; and maintaining an engaged, positive team environment through effective leadership and coaching.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be ServSafe certifiable
- Minimum 1-3 years of high volume restaurant leadership experience
- Proven track record of effectively managing COGS and labor
- Strong knowledge and application of safe food handling practices
- Customer focus and hospitality skills
- Trainer and coach abilities
- Management skills for coaching and training employees
- Organizational and goal-focused
- Technical proficiency with POS systems
- Flexible and adaptable to meet standards
