Job Summary
Oversee operations and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems, managing site supervisors and coordinating resources for programmed and corrective maintenance schedules. Ensure timely response to helpdesk requests, monitor KPIs, and submit monthly performance reports while reviewing SOPs to strengthen facility management operations. Direct troubleshooting efforts, lead energy management initiatives, and maintain strict adherence to Workplace Safety and Health standards. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to build strong client relationships and ensure all contractual obligations are met.
Required Qualifications
- At least a Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Estate/Facilities Management, Building Science, or equivalent
- At least 8 years of relevant working experience
- At least 3 years of relevant supervisory experience
- Good M&E knowledge and experience
- Good communication skills in English (both spoken and written)
- Ability to establish good working rapport with users
- Ability to attend to appointments promptly
- Ability to mobilize, plan and arrange for resources to carry out work as instructed
- Ability to supervise and report back to the client upon completion of work
- Ability to arrange and mobilize all resources to attend Faults during emergency services
- Ability to arrange and mobilize all resources to attend Faults during weekday off-operation hours and weekend emergency works
- Ability to monitor and improve the efficiency of energy usage in the Premises
- Ability to Plan and execute the Schedule of Programmed Maintenance
- Ability to Plan and monitor the corrective Maintenance
- Ability to Ensure tight milestones, KPI's and targets are met promptly
- Ability to Monitor and manage Helpdesk, ensuring timely response and adherence to performance standards
- Ability to Submit monthly report per FM monthly performance reporting regime
- Ability to Prepare and/or update manuals, reports on time as required for submission to Client
- Ability to Review and update SOPs and processes to strengthen FM operations
- Ability to Review and develop measures to meet the Operations requirement
- Ability to Communicate and engage with internal and external customers, vendors, tenants, etc.
- Ability to Build and maintain good relationships with clients and key stakeholders
- Ability to Review, manage, and ensure timely renewal of all service contracts, maintaining compliance with contractual obligations
- Ability to Take accountability and Ownership of Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) standards and outcomes in building up a safety culture
