Job Summary
The Assistant Manager (AM) supports the Restaurant General Manager in managing daily operations to ensure guest satisfaction in a restaurant setting. Responsibilities include motivating and directing team members to exceed expectations, supervising and training staff, enforcing compliance with regulations, and assisting in financial management and marketing plans. The AM is accountable for operations in the absence of the Restaurant General Manager and is required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- 1 year of experience working in the quick service restaurant industry in management
- Demonstrates leadership skills
- Demonstrates formal understanding of the quick service industry and the core customer
- Recognizes and solves routine problems
- Develops knowledge and skills in basic tasks, practices and procedures within own area
