Job Summary
Manage a sub-team delivering world-class service to corporate clients by owning daily operational rhythms, including accurate time recording, invoice authorization, and cash collection. Enforce quality controls through strict adherence to policies, maintaining clean client data in core systems, and championing housekeeping standards like same-day communication acknowledgments. Lead end-to-end board workflows, monitor internal file reviews and bank transactions, and drive audit readiness while conducting thorough transaction reviews. Coach and develop team members via weekly huddles, quarterly performance conversations, and structured training, while proactively identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities to grow the portfolio. Build strong client relationships through regular touchpoints and confident fee negotiations, ensuring all deliverables meet agreed timelines and exceed expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (mandatory)
- Master's degree or recognised professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CFA, CGI or equivalent)
- 5 - 8 years in corporate services
- experience mentoring or leading a small team
- Confident communicator who can manage expectations, handle complaints/escalations professionally, and build rapport via regular calls and touchpoints
- familiar with the Financial Services Act, Companies Act, Insurance Act, and Income Tax Act
- adept at interpreting audited financial statements
- able to analyse shareholders' agreements and complex constitutions
- Familiar with billing, recoveries, and portfolio health
- able to spot and nurture value-enhancement opportunities
- Experience with document/client management systems and payment platforms
- disciplined use of a work-planning tool
