Job Summary
Assist in day-to-day execution of general ledger processes and support clients in understanding these processes. Perform accounting functions including account balancing, ledger reconciliation, reporting, and discrepancy resolution. Coordinate and implement accounting work and SOP audits, ensure compliance with federal and state laws related to fraud and collection procedures, produce accurate timely reports and presentations, analyze information to determine best solutions, verify information, balance ledgers, and conduct credit reference checks for direct billed groups if needed. Lead sections to achieve goals, submit timely reports, maintain strong internal controls, and participate in period-end processes. Provide direction and assistance regarding accounting and budgeting policies, train personnel on accounts receivable posting techniques, and demonstrate integrity and strong communication to foster a productive, diverse team environment. Required Qualifications
- 4-year bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or related major; no work experience required
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Finance and Accounting or related major; 2 years experience in finance and accounting or related professional area
